Thanks for the fav! I'm now realizing just how many errors I made in making my first couple of bridles, and I'm working on a new one (including making all tassels by hand.) Any advice? I would really appreciate it 
I don't personally make tassels by hand, because there are so many available to buy that are really high quality. I would recommend first getting access to high quality materials at wholesale. I live near LA so I go to the fashion district to get supplies, and it lets me see a wide variety of materials and get them wholesale. Then, get your hands on some E-6000 glue. It is super strong and even if you wash it, it won't fall apart. Also get some good needles and wax thread. After you glue, reinforce all your snaps and buckles with lots of wax thread so it will last forever. That help?

I forget to mention: line your crown piece and reins with nylon webbing so they are extra durable. You can find a lot of materials online. Just do google searches for things like: tassels wholesale, nylon webbing wholesale, cording wholesale, buckles wholesale etc...
